Chapter 309 scholarship applications are by invitation, and the coordinators decide who to invite partly on what members tell them about a candidate. If you do not know anyone at the chapter, that should not count against you. Fill this in and every member can read it; any of them can put their name to you.
Tell us what you actually do. Service to any organisation counts - Civil Air Patrol, your school, a church, a job, somewhere you turn a wrench. It does not have to be chapter work. The committee scores Community Involvement on all of it, but they can only score what they can see, and this is where you make it visible.
This is not an application, and it is not a guarantee that a member will endorse you. It puts you in front of the membership, and it goes on the coordinators' list either way.
